In April we are planning to hold a ‘Great Clear Out Day’. Everyone in Chew Magna who has something in their house, garage or attic in the way of furniture or appliances that they want to get rid of can clear it out on the allotted day.
Residents can then affix “Please take me and re-use me” stickers on each item. The Sofa Project (the local reuse furniture project) will collect everything that is left out to take to their shop in Bath for sale to low income households.
