This site has taken the following measures to aid user accessibility:

W3C [World Wide Web Consortium] Web Standards
This site conforms to valid  XHTML 1.0 Transitional and CSS 2 coding standards.
In plain English this provides a better browsing experience for all users.

Hidden Headers

To aid screen-readers hidden headers have been placed at the beginning of each bit of content to help screen reader users know where they are in the page.

Images
All images have a descriptive 'alt' tag included. This provides alternative image text when images are unavailable or inaccessibility.

Layout and tables
The main layout of the site is CSS driven and the use of tables has kept to a minimum; some tables remain for displaying data within the site.

JavaScript
JavaScript useage has been kept to an absolute minimum.

Font Size
To save users messing around with font sizes, we've added a font size controller.
In the top left hand corner above the Go Zero users can select either 'Nomal' [8pt] or 'Large' [10pt] font size depending on their preference.

Site Structure
The site structure has been made consistent throughout:
- The left column is static and its' content does not change.
- The right column [when required] offers links and information specific to the section you are browsing.
ie. If you are browsing the news section the news categories will be shown in the right column.
